Access

A remote drive-up spring with dispersed camping at 6,200 feet on the edge of the Frank Church–River of No Return Wilderness. The Forest’s directions: from North Fork, 14 miles west on Forest Road 030, 8 miles north on FR 038, then 14 miles northwest on FR 044 and FR 065. Expect no services.

Winter: The Forest posts no season; access is entirely by high-elevation forest roads — check road status with the district before going.
