Access
The park’s Goldstrike Canyon Trail runs 5.3 miles (8.5 km) round trip with 1,200 feet of elevation change and is rated Very Strenuous, a Grade 2 canyoneering route with seven dry falls of varying heights; parking is off Goldstrike Road near Boulder City, shortly before the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. The trail leads to natural hot springs in the canyon. The park states these are not designated swim areas, that it does not regularly test the water, and that the springs can contain amoebas such as Naegleria as well as bacteria including fecal coliform and E. coli where the water pools.

Winter: Winter is the open season here: the park closes this trail annually from May 15 to September 30, and temporarily outside those dates whenever temperatures are forecast to reach 95°F or higher at Willow Beach.
Access notes read from the manager's own page, checked 2026-08-19.
Worth knowing: The NCEI record carries no name; it is matched to Goldstrike Canyon by position within the canyon the park publishes a trail page for, so verify locally. The park says every year hikers underestimate this trail, leading to injuries and death, and that the springs are not designated swim areas.
