The Town of Saratoga’s Hobo Pool sits on the banks of the Platte River in town — the Town calls it “the historic hot pool,” a natural hot springs once believed to possess healing properties — with a picnic area behind the pool. The Town lists the pool as open and posts its rules: bathing outfits are required, no open containers and no alcohol, no smoking or tobacco use in any form, and no glass containers.
